1. Before furnace startup, the furnace supervisor and on-duty fitter shall conduct inspection on the furnace body, power supply, hydraulic system and cooling system. The on-duty electrician can only be notified to energize the power after all equipment are confirmed to be in good condition. 3. When starting up a new furnace or resuming production after a full month of shutdown, an insulation test shall be performed on the induction coil. II. Furnace Startup Operations: 2. Furnace front operators must properly wear personal protective equipment. Reduce the medium-frequency power before charging, and gradually increase the power to the rated value after charging is completed. It is strictly forbidden to leave the post or engage in personal work during operation. When tapping molten iron, the power must be cut off, and tapping steel/molten iron with power on is strictly prohibited. Operators shall also monitor the operation of the hydraulic pump, and check whether molten iron has splashed to any areas of the basement. Extinguish any hidden danger in time once molten iron splashes into the basement to avoid fire. 4. During the smelting process, the on-duty fitter and electrician shall strengthen routine inspection of equipment, detect faults in time and curb the occurrence of faults. 6. The on-duty furnace supervisor shall closely monitor the condition changes of the furnace wall, handle problems in time, keep detailed records, and strictly prohibit risky operation to prevent major accidents. 8. In case of water leakage, arcing and other abnormal conditions in the furnace body or electrical cabinet, maintenance can only be carried out after the power is disconnected, and a warning sign shall be placed at the power control device to prevent misoperation. 10. If sudden power outage occurs during normal production, all operations shall be implemented in accordance with the requirements of the emergency production plan. 12. Under normal circumstances, the water cooling system remains open. In case of furnace shutdown, after all molten iron is tapped out, the water cooling system shall maintain water supply for at least 12 hours until the furnace body is completely cooled down.
