1. The product features a high power factor on the power grid. The medium frequency power supply is a voltage-type series inverter power supply. Its rectification always works at zero trigger angle, with no adjustment on rectification and only adjustment on inversion, so the power factor is high, exceeding 0.95, and there is no high-order harmonic. 2. The product saves power consumption. The series resonant circuit design brings small reactive current, which greatly reduces power consumption. For a 0.5-ton 300KW medium frequency furnace, the power consumption is 680 kWh when melting iron to 1450℃, and the power consumption is 720 kWh when melting steel to 1600℃. A 0.5-ton parallel thyristor medium frequency furnace needs a 500KW transformer to drive, while a 0.5-ton series inverter medium frequency furnace can work normally with only a 300KW transformer, and its power consumption is very low. 3. The product always maintains constant power output during the smelting process. Compared with parallel inverter medium frequency power supplies, it adopts a different power regulation method: parallel medium frequency power supplies regulate power by adjusting DC voltage, while our product regulates power by adjusting frequency. It is not affected by the amount of furnace charge, and maintains constant power throughout the entire smelting process. Its superiority is especially prominent when smelting non-magnetic materials such as stainless steel, copper, industrial silicon and aluminum. It has faster melting speed, less element burning loss of furnace charge, better energy saving effect, and reduces casting cost.

4. It requires a power transformer with small capacity. Take a half-ton furnace as an example, a half-ton series medium frequency furnace only requires 300KW of power, and the low-voltage side voltage of the transformer only needs to be 380V. Therefore, for ordinary casting enterprises, only one transformer below 315KVA is enough, which can be shared by lighting, traveling cranes, water pumps and other power loads. In some regions, the power supply department only charges a capacity fee of 28 yuan per kilowatt per month when the transformer capacity exceeds 315KW.
